Leading with Integrity for Our District
I am running for re-election to the KLSD Board of Education to champion strong public schools and the goals of Vision 2030. As a lawyer and current Board President, I bring the professional experience needed to navigate complex district challenges. My commitment ensures steady, accountable leadership for every KLSD student. I am honored to have served on the Board of Education since 2023 and would be privileged to continue this important work if re‑elected. Please vote on May 19, 2026.
My Commitment to Our Schools
I am deeply rooted in the Katonah-Lewisboro community. I have lived in Pound Ridge for 30 years. My husband and I raised our three children in KLSD. They are all proud graduates of John Jay. For years, I have watched as our schools serve as the heart of our district, providing the foundation for our children's futures. My vision is simple: to foster a transparent, approachable, and community-driven board that listens to every parent and student voice. Together, we can ensure our schools are not just institutions, but vibrant spaces where every child feels seen and every family feels heard.

There is, however, always room for continuous improvement. Over the next three years, if re-elected, I look forward to working on the following areas, in addition to much, much more to enhance the experience in our schools. I hope to see more of our community members joining our meetings to share their hopes, thoughts and concerns with us.

Proven Results Together
As one of seven board members, no one member can accomplish anything alone. We must work together in order to chart the District's best path forward to Empower All and Light the Path to Success. To reach these means, I have helped facilitate steady, responsible progress through professional collaboration and building on past boards’ accomplishments. Our collective work for KLSD that I am most proud of during my term includes:
- Conducted a district-wide Security Audit
- Completed comprehensive Literacy Audit
- Maintained fiscal discipline without piercing the budget cap
- Successfully conducted Special Education Audit, hired a new Assistant Superintendent for Special Education and Director of Special Education and created a Special Education Empowerment Council
- Worked on developing the Mission/Vision 2030 framework with the input of the Administration, Board, Teachers, Staff, Students and Community
